    Testimonials

    British Telecom

"This report is the means by which many people judge our performance and as such it needs to be produced to the highest standards of both content and presentation. Mark Design have played a key role in achieving this by being extremely professional, providing the highest quality design service and at the same time meeting very exacting production schedules."

Tom Hamilton, Regional Manager, BT West Midlands Region

    Lavish Locations

"Our business has gone from strength to strength since we worked with Mark Design to re-design our website. For a locations agency our website isn't just a marketing tool - it is an important tool that our clients work with day-to-day to find their perfect location. With exacting requirements and tight deadlines our clients need to be able to pin point the location they need in the area they need it. Mark design were quick to understand our brief, built a website with excellent functionality and gave us a new corporate identity which we feel really fits our proposition. Our existing clients are delighted and we are gaining new clients every month. Mark Design really did help us re-define Lavish."

    Helen Marsden, Director, Lavish Locations

    Conservatoire for Dance and Drama

"On the strength of the work we saw, we invited Mark Design to participate in a selection process. We felt that Mark Design represented good value for money and thought that we would have an effective working relationship with them. We decided to commission the team to produce our Annual Review for the academic year 2008-09.

Working with Mark Design has been extremely easy. They understood immediately the kind of look we were seeking, and were sensitive to our demands as an organisation with eight affiliate schools all of whom needed to be equally represented in the final publication both in the text we prepared but, importantly, in the images and general design. We were delighted with the finished product.

The Annual Review has received an extremely positive response across the whole organisation from the School Principals to Governors and we were particularly commended by the marketing staff of the schools. Our affiliate schools are internationally-recognised elite establishments and include household names such as RADA. That the Conservatoire's Annual Review was commended by them as an effective reflection of their brands is testament to the work of Mark Design. "

Julie Crofts, Administrative Director, Conservatoire for Dance and Drama

    Natural Elements

"The rebranding has been very successful. In the early days of our relaunch it did significantly improve our profile and presence in the contract interior marketplace. This marketplace is very competitive and design led, with many strong brands to compete with. So it is essential that we have a brand that stands out from the crowd. We definitely achieved this.

We have had the logo for almost 4 years now and we still believe it is modern, impactful and provides the commercial profile that we require in our market but with a design led style."

    Jim Morgan, Director, Natural Elements

    Informa plc

"Tasked with revitalising an established medical journal, we challenged ten design agencies to develop a new identity. We were seeking a new design for our logo and cover that would not only help set us apart in a crowded market but would visually communicate our dedication to publishing trustworthy content.

Throughout the process, Mark Design demonstrated a deep commitment to and understanding of our business objectives outlined in our brief. They enriched this understanding with their outstanding creativity, resulting in the elegant and professional Identity we are proud to adopt.

In addition to their high standards of work (both digital and print), they deliver excellent client service. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with them, before, during and after the pitching process. I highly recommended them, without any reservation. "

Lydia Dye-Stonebridge Marketing Manager, Informa Healthcare

    University of Brighton

"We wanted a suite of marketing materials that had great visual impact, a sense of intelligence and was not the 'run of the mill' b2b leaflets you might see at any conference or event. Not an easy proposition. Mark Design produced more than just a series of promotional leaflets, they developed a visual representation of our marketing message that expresses our offering in an innovative and engaging way. The intention now is to use the suite as a template for further marketing materials and to use the imagery on our website."

Jennifer Wells, University of Brighton Business Services

    Brighton & Hove City Council

"Since early 2003 Mark Design's stylish and innovative designs have ensured that the VisitBrighton branding, and city-by-the-sea imagery and messages have reached target leisure and business visitors both at home and overseas. The revised VisitBrighton logo and branding has generated an increased visitor awareness and interest and helped to boost visitor numbers to www.visitbrighton.com by 114% in just over a year"

Sarah Gibbs, Brighton & Hove City Council

    Department of Health

"The Department of Health's HART programme is a very high profile project involving a number of multi-agency bodies dedicated to saving lives in extreme circumstances, such as after a terrorist attack or a major chemical works explosion.

Having strong, powerful branding that is easily identifiable at the scene of a major incident helps ensure that HART vehicles and personnel are able to access and treat seriously injured people quickly and without disruption. The branding that Mark Design has produced for us has proved to be extremely effective in this regard.

The HART branding also had to fit in with the strict NHS and DH corporate identity guidelines, which made the project trickier. However, this did not faze the Mark Design team who I have found are extremely easy to work with. They have bent over backwards to help us meet our project objectives and I would have no hesitation recommending them to others."

Carl Rees, National Communications Lead, DH HART Programme

    United Merchants plc

"Mark Design provided everything we wanted during our re-branding exercise, to an agreed timetable and budget, and worked within our existing framework to take our existing brand to the next level. We very pleased with our new sleek look."

Suzanne Millward, Marketing Manager, United Merchants plc

    Keystone Law

"We recently undertook a rebrand of this firm and became known as Keystone Law. The rebrand required us to create an entirely new look and feel to all our published material including website, stationery and other marketing collateral, both online and offline. These tasks were entirely carried out by Mark Design who delivered on time and within budget with minimal fuss. We were particularly impressed how they would listen to what we wanted on a conceptual level and then go away and create exactly the style we were looking for. When it came to execution and printing, the team at Mark Design worked hard to deliver a great result which is basically why we ended up with one. I have no hesitation at all in recommending their services."

James Knight, Managing Director, Keystone Law

    The Kitchen Store

"From the very beginning of The Kitchen Store, Mark Design has played a key role in our business. Their initial work on establishing our identity entirely met our brief for an intelligent, adaptable and simple design with a contemporary edge. This has lead onto a range of projects that have been delivered on time, with wit and creativity. Importantly, Mark Design value the relationship which means they really understand what we do and who we want to attract. As well as the identity, this has resulted in a series of marketing materials and a successful online business, all of which retain this brand consistency and integrity."

Alan Margetts, Director, The Kitchen Store

    Miller Evans & Co.

"As a solicitors firm with no shop front, our only means of communication with our clients is through our advertising and website. The sleek design and the 'me' branding from Mark Design have provided us with the professional, corporate image that we needed. The unified appearance of our advertising, stationery and website give us an established and substantial image, which is essential in this field's competitive market place."

Gabriella Putnoki, Miller Evans & Co.
